If there's nothing on in huge multiplex cinemas it's worth having a look at GFTs listings. Here you might find a gem of a film you'd otherwise miss. Cinema immaculate, small and intimate and staff friendly, professional and knowledgable. Small bar, best place to see...More

Night off and fancied a film so headed for Glasgow Film Theatre. Almost always enjoy the films there. 'Isle of Dogs' - excellent. Definitely a must for any dog lovers out there.

As usual we really enjoyed the experience. It is a slightly quirky cinema but we love the comfy seats and the fact one can take drinks from the reasonably priced bar into the cinema. A nice change from the big chains.

It's a lovely little cinema that is independent and in a lovely art deco building. Great cafe also. Been many times and just love it. Great value for money.

Would definitely use this cinema again, comfy seats with enough leg room, just don’t have a cup of tea there, mine was tasteless. Easy to find and central

This was my first visit to the GFT. Visited in Dec with family to see Elf. It’s a lovely quaint wee place. There was some messing about with people finding seats (because you aren’t assigned a seat) but it could have been avoided if everyone...More

My wife and I spent a lot of time here when we were growing up, so great to bring the teenage kids along for some Christmas movies. Well set out, good bar and high end fit-out. Selection of films all year round is fantastic.

I had high hopes for the GFT, however I was left a little disappointed. The decor in the foyer is lovely - a far cry from the usual bland, multiplex cinemas. Sadly, the screen is a little on the small side. This might be fine...More
