This museum has a small, well thought out and chosen, amount of items from pretty much every era of human existence. Well worth a visit. Decent café and grounds around as well - including Highland cattle which are always interesting to see up close.

Jump a bus, and a pleasant walk up to the museum, you will find a very beautiful museum, very spacious and easy to get around. Very large variety of artifacts to view, and plenty of space for kids to run around!

Spending a 3 day trip to Glasgow this was top of list for a visit. Such a shame that when we arrived we found it had closed just 2 weeks earlier until 2020! for renovations.Disappointed.But what a delightful parkland setting, lots of parking, dog walkers paradise.

A reflective space on a summer evening so close to ultra urban carelessness yet so very relaxing. Green open space full of happy, so friendly people. I cannot wait for next summer

Contains a superb variety of collections acquired during a long period of time by its benafactor. It's a well spent day admiring all the objects in display.

Burrel Collection can be really fascinating if you have never been anywhere else, but if you have seen some really nice art collections you'll be missing something. Anyway Ballet dancers by Degas, Rembrandt, several other paintings and stone vase stolen from Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli are worth the visit.

I enjoyed visiting the Burrell Collection and learning of how this collection came into existence. There was so much to see from art/artifacts from ancient civilizations, oriental art, medieval and post-medieval European art and more. The history of this collection is so rich.

Quite a hike in the park from a suburban train station for this small and medicre collection. A roomful of impressionist gems, a few ancient artifacts of interest, some overexposed Rodins, but that's it. Not a must see, only do it if you have extra time.
