We all went out for a family day out. Firstly the weather was fandabbydozy ( for foreign visitors : it was really nice, warm and sunny) After getting there having a browse around the shops, having a quick cuppa we headed off down to the Loch shore where we had a lovely family picnic. To finish off the whole experience... More

The weather was murky but we saw one of Scotland's more picturesque and famous lochs. Well worth doing if you are able to do so.

Less than an hour outside of Glasgow city center lies a spectacular National Park. The Luss Estate on the shore of Loch Lomond is a quick and charming walk. Be sure to visit the local stores and pick up some shortbread!

If you are visiting the west of Scotland, then Loch Lomond is a must visit. I am sure it comes in the top of the 'must see' places in Scotland and its well worth it. If you visit Scotland you MUST go here to see the amazing scenery simply beautiful. Take in one of the lodges & hotels along the shoreline or simply walk along if its a nice day, if you feel adventerous head up Ben Lomond
