The Scottish country side is just full to the brim with beautiful sites. Loch Lomond is one such sight close to Glasgow. Serene views of the lake, best to visit on a clear, preferably sunny day.

I have visited this place today but I didn't find anything new.. As a tourist . If I am a citizen of Glasgow then it will b good thing for me to chill out but as a tourist there is nothing like boating or no activity. So if given chance I will love to stay in city rather than visiting... More

I've been coming to Loch Lomond since I was a wee boy, then cycling there in my teens, then extended family outings as brothers and sister got married. It's a fabulous place. Not quite as rugged as the Highlands proper (once you climb further north up the A82 towards Crianlarich and beyond) but wonderful for all that with deep glens,... More

This Sea Life Centre is still one of our favourites as it has a little bit of everything for all ages. Managed to catch "Finding Dory" on IMAX at a very good price too inside. Activities for the kids are good and a great selection to keep them entertained. Put it on your to do list when visiting Loch Lomond.... More

Fantastic natural beauty and scenic views. A camera with a good zoom is an advantage. Allow a couple of hours for the visit. Better visit on a clear day if possible.

Went twice during our stay in Glasgow. If you have children, this is a great place. There are playgrounds, and aquarium, small beach area, walking and bike paths, lake boat tours as well as a variety of restaurants and shoppes. A perfect way to spend the day.

A freezing day in February was spent taking photos of the area. Then a hot drink a little shopping in the Jenners store.
