There is good and bad here, the bad is once you go to this cinema you will never want to visit the peasant cinema again. The good is we like to sit on the back row smooching and fondling and drinking wine we have smuggled...More

This was our visit to a imax and what a fantastic experience would definately recommend as a treat. It is such a shame that due to the cost of a family ticket £57 makes this an expensive and not many people attending the facility, there...More

We attended the screening of Dunkirk last night scheduled for 6.20. Arrived at about 5.45 as I've not been well and wanted to ensure I wasn't parked too far away. I hadn't been in some time, I don't think it was Cineworld when I last...More

I visited the IMAX with my wife to watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December 2017. This was my first visit to the IMAX and it was a great experience. I have watched IMAX presentations before in larger screens but this smaller cinema creates...More

The film was great but the parking system they have when leaving was horrendous. With so many people leaving at once it took 20 minutes just to get out the car park! If you want the IMAX experience I'd recommend a trip to Edinburgh (including...More

I've never been to an Imax before and was worried it would be very gimmicky. However, I thoroughly enjoyed "Bladerunner 2049" in 3-D. The screen is huge and made the world of the film very real and engaging. There is plenty of room where you...More

This was a great cinema experience. We went during the day, so it wasn't too crowded. Seats were nice, clean and comfortable. The Starbucks on the ground floor was packed, but we discovered that the snack bar on the upper floor where you go into...More

Very expensive cinema experience. No staff to help. Queues for tickets, entry, food, car parking rebate, paying for parking and leaving car park. Wouldn't go to Imax again. Really need more staff to help and machines that accept new style £5.

Hi - there is a car park at the IMAX. Customers can get discounted rates, just see the staff at the snacks counter and you will pay £3 before 5 or £1 after 5.

we have tickets to see Shine A Light for 19 April at 18:00 and wish to know how crowded it usually gets and should we be at the door how much in advance.

Have never been there and don't actually know, so am bumping you up to see if anyone can answer your question. My ignorant opinion is that they get people into cinemas and theatres really fast (unlike theme parks) so 15 minutes should be plenty, though it's good to get there earlier, maybe have a drink in the bar, watch the people arriving and soak up the ambience if you have plenty of time.

Wanting to see a film at the Hemispheric IMAX theatre but was wondering whether or not they had audio headsets so that we can watch with English audio?

Yes, all films can be viewed in English. You´ll be wearing an audio headset with language options.

2 for 1 vouchers (2 Replies)
There are 2 for 1 vouchers for many of the things I want to see in London. However I'm worried that I am not able to book ahead for things like the Science Museum Imax Theatre and British Design Exhibition at the V and A at a time which suits me. I'll be visiting for a week from April 19th. Should I take a chance that places will be available or pay the extra money and book ahead online? Thanks again for your help.

Why don't you book once you're there for later in your stay? I really don't think you'll have a problem though, even the day of.
