Huge park just east of downtown Glasgow along the river. There are several asphalt paths, open green spaces, landmarks, fountains, plaques, and benches. Beyond that, there's the People's Palace (gives the working class history), a playground, a suspension bridge over the river, and the winter gardens with plants from around the world and a cafe. I spent 3 hours here just wandering and touring the Palace.

Would not recommend, biggest waste of money & time!! Full of underage children out their face and throwing drinks everywhere. DO NOT pay for VIP tickets, I promise you will be so disappointed & you will waste alot of money. Save the hassle & book a decent concert. Security are useless & just as bad as the kids who are out their face!

I have walked thru Glasgow Green many times over the last 50 years. Yesterday I walked in at the High St entrance and followed the Riverwalk along the Clyde to Dalmarnock - it’s about 4 miles round trip. The walk takes you past several boathouses and bridges along well-kept and generally clean pathways in a very pleasant setting. It’s hard to believe that you are so close to the City Centre. You will also see the great greenhouses attached to The Peoples Palace. There are play areas for kids, a large football centre and a mixture of street parking (mostly metered but some free spaces). It’s an excellent walk.

This is one of my favourite places in Glasgow. If you want to go a run have a picnic or do some sightseeing this place is ideal. Home to the the world's tallest terracotta fountain and the first monument to Nelson after his famous Battle.

I have visited Glasgow Green many times over the last 50 years. From The Peoples Palace with its huge greenhouse (sadly closed during the pandemic) to the play parks for kids and the peaceful walks, it’s a great place to visit. There is both free and metered parking nearby and very good public transport links. It’s great to walk along the Clyde or watch the world going by from one of the bridges. A great (and free) place to visit especially when we can’t go too far from home at present.

Another one of our magnificent parks. Glasgow is a city surrounded by parks, and more per head than any other city in the UK. Families, cyclists, walkers and just relax on the seats or grass on a beautiful day with a book.
