About
Blood-red water courses through Finnich Glen, a majestic sliver of Scotland, and surges around a strange rock with a sinister reputation. The name “the Devil’s Pulpit” originally referred to the mushroom-shaped rock that sometimes pokes above the rushing stream.

A beauty spot it isn’t . The Devil’s Pulpit has been trashed by ‘visitors’ and can only be described as the Killearn dump. If you visit the countryside and bring food, nappies, bbqs and clothes, the least you can do is take them home. Tourists, visitors, whatever you call yourself, respect the area and take your rubbish home. Oh.... take your excrement too, or just don’t do it !

Better still bring a bin bag and help clean the place up.

If you do go to the gorge adhere to the parking restrictions, traffic wardens and police are ticketing and issuing penalty points daily. If it is taped of or yellow lined don’t park there, emergency services regularly need access, if you block access it could be someone’s life your endangering.

Enjoy the pictures, they’re what you’ll experience
