It wasn't the best weather when we were here but the park looked like it would be a nice place to spend time when you did get a good day. They have a lot of walking trails and we saw a children's area and football field. We were walking through it to get to the Burrell collection which is also... More

At all times of the year Pollok Park is a joy to visit. Every time you go you see something different. A little piece of country in the middle of a conurbation - paradise.

Went on a muddy day, but had a great time. Beautiful gardens around the house, lots of parkland to look around and highland cattle to see.

Loads to see. A whole day is not enough. Pollock House is a stunning mansion with exceptional art collection and beautiful gardens. Then there is the world famous Burrell Collection with changing exhibits and lovely café overlooking parklands. Walks along the River, Highland Cattle, fab adventure swing park for kids. All entirely free. Great any time of the year.

The Park was awash but, it was OK if you stuck to the surfaced paths. Usually go further and walk more but, this was ideal for the short days and if it gets too wet there are 2 museums to visit.

The decorations and personal touches that have been done to make this visit are excellent. The setting... More
