This is a good choice for a Wedding Venue. The gardens and buildings lend themselves well to the Wedding Photographs and there is plenty of space for the reception, dinging room and the bar / dancing area.

A real delight for lovers of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Beautiful house and contents. Being able to touch and sit on the furniture was a bonus. Grounds looked interesting but inclement weather stopped any exploration.

Check their website as it does weddings also and the exhibition changes its opening times upto a week at a time. The cafe has separate opening times and is open to the public more frequent.

Sorry I can answer your question. I was leading a tour, which means the bus driver got us there, with the help of a local who served as a private guide. I bet it's really beautiful there now that summer has arrived. Enjoy!
