Congratulations to Jim and Simon for organizing a brilliant week of golf, even the weather in October was great. Organization from start to finish was tremendous. The courses we played Old Course/Castle/Carnoustie and Kingsbarns were all 1st class and in tremendous condition. Would highly recommend. Accomodation was terrific also.

My friends and I had an incredible 7-day/9 course trip with 5-star accommodations. The execution by Jim and his crew was flawless, and it didn't hurt that the weather was spectacular (went in August). I am looking forward to going back--or maybe try the Ireland trip that Jim claims is just as spectacular. Greg Lawrence, Baltimore, MD

We have nothing but good things to say about Jim and Connoisseur Golf. He was flexible and accommodated our needs at every step of the way. We had fantastic Tee times and played courses we wanted and the courses he recommended were top notch. Our caddies were great. He took great care with all facets of our trip. We went as a couple, and we got top notch, first class service. And he arranged for some great weather while we were there, too! Top marks and we will definitely use his company again, when we decide to return. We are planning an Ireland-Scotland trip again sometime soon.

Had the chance to spend a week in Scotland on a trip arranged by Connoisseur Golf last year. Jim, Caroline, and the Connoisseur team are simply outstanding at what they do. Accomodations were all five star, transport was easy and efficient, the trip was well planned with plenty of golf and no rushing from place to place. The food was fabulous and the golf courses were excellent, especially for the price paid. All in all an outstanding experience that I would definitely repeat. John

Definition of Connoisseur (1) one who understands the details, technique, or principles of an art and is competent to act as a critical judge: (2) one who enjoys with discrimination and appreciation of subtleties. Connoisseur Golf lives up to its name. Not only can they put the perfect itinerary together, but they add in the discriminating subtleties (like restaurant selection, course rotation, and personality aligned evening activities) that make the already memorable golf even more memorable. During your week in their care, you truly feel like you are their most important people. Somehow they turn a business exchange into a personal endeavor. The only thing they could do to make it more intimate is to host you in their own home (it wouldn't surprise me if they have done that before).
