The Himalayas Putting Course is World Famous & for a small amount of money the whole family can join in. The Himalayas is a must for young & old it isn't easy, it is so popular on sunny days you will have queue but it is fun & it is quite unique - enjoy it!

Playing the Himalayas is a great way for the non-golfers and golfers in a group to still have golf-related fun together (having lots of putting skill and practice doesn't seem to make too much difference to the final score!) This course is very tricky but a good laugh in an idyllic setting and a very cheap activity (I think it... More

Down on the links, so you are part of the golfing action at a fraction of the price, £5 for an adult and 2 12 yr olds, we were even allowed to take the dog on the course. We did 18 holes, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Toilets available in the club house.

All 5 of us (aged 5 to50) thoroughly enjoyed this testing putting course which cost £9 in total (for 5). We returned for a 2nd challenge a few days later at the insistence of our 8 year old. Great fun and not packed with people but is overlooked by the famous old course so the setting could not be better.... More

Despite the very windy weather and a shower of rain, we putted our way around this fun course. I fully intend to return home and say I played 18 holes at St. Andrews!

Visiting family on holiday they decided we should go here. For 4 adults and 3 kids it cost £15. You get the choice of 9 or 18 holes but if you have children under 6 they are only allowed 9 holes. It isn't your normal putting green with all the hills but great competitors towards each other. They said it... More

18 holes a little bit too long for two twelve years olds, best to choose 9 hole course . Extremely reasonable , only £8 for our group of two adults and two children

Great fun on Saturday morning in the sunshine getting blown about the Himayalas Putting Course next to the Old Course at St Andrews. I still managed to beat the Daughter by 4 shots despite the wind.

Been putting here for 23 years and always enjoyed it. Went out for the first time this year and it took well over a hour. Prices are also up by 50% on last year to £3 a round. Play should be kept to 4 balls as a max but there were 5 balls. No management to move people on etc.... More

This where the town's annual putting championship is held in high summer. A fiendishly difficult course is set up and the standard of putting - as you expect in the Home of Golf - is out of this world. Usually won by a youngster from the huge (artisan) St Andrews club but in 2014 there was a rare victory for... More
