This a great track with a lot of very well designed golf holes. It is quite playable for even mid handicaps, and it was nice to see them keep the high grass at a findable level. I didn't think it was quite worth the £230 pricetag in comparison to the cost of some great golf courses in the US, but... More

Played on a pleasant sunny afternoon. The Kyle Phillips layout is challenging but fair with stunning sea views on almost every hole. All the friendly Kingsbarns staff help to make this a golfing experience to savour, the clubhouse just echoes this, with honest fare at the conclusion of your round. At whatever level of golf you play, you will enjoy... More

This is a great golf course that offers unsurpassed views, a tough demanding layout and the highest quality customer service. My caddie Shar was from New Zealand and was great as was Rueben another caddie in our group. The meal afterward for our group of 12 was great and handled well. The course is great and a must play if... More

Having played Royal Dornoch and Castle Stuart, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kingsbarns beats them both for design and scenery. Naturally, most people who make the pilgrimage to this part of Scotland head for The Old Course, just a short ride up the coast from Kingsbarns. This unpretentious neighbour to St. Andrews has a supreme layout that affords... More

Wow is all I can say. All 18 holes are terrific. The views are breathtaking, the holes are fair, and you will remember this golf course for a long time. It made my top ten list. If you get a chance, you must play this course.

I'm a 10 handicap who plays 40-50 per year. I played pebble beach in 2003 and it held the top spot of best course I've ever played until 2013 when I played Thracian Cliffs on the Black Sea. Thracian Cliffs held the title until Kingsbarn this April. Kingsbarn is a gorgeous links course on the North Sea 20 minutes from... More

All round first class golfing experience. Clubhouse is not ostentatious like other modern Scottish courses (Renaissance/Archerfiled) with a varied menu targeted for the golfer. Locker room provides an extensive breathtaking panoramic view of the task ahead. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The course; ever hole requires thought on the tee where a driver is not always the best club.... More

Kingsbarns Golf Links is a fantastic links course with all the charm of a 150 year-old links, but all the amenities of a modern course. Nice clubhouse with a great locker room. The caddie program is top-notch with professional caddies, not members who want to pick up some beer money. The course is challenging without being punishing, and the views... More
