Hard to compare Kingsbarns to anywhere else, as is it very special. From the moment you arrive, it is a first class experience and something that sets it apart from other local courses. Spectacular.

2 things to say; firstly the course is magnificent one of the best courses I have played, the views are outstanding and the course layout is great. Secondly, the service from the staff is second to none. I had a slight issue when I last played it (long story!) and emailed Alan Hogg to provide some feedback. The manner in which Alan dealt with it was superb, first class customer service. I also dealt with Audrey in arranging a new tee time and some after sales, again the level of service was first class. Both Alan and Audrey are a credit to Kingsbarns.

From the moment you arrive you know that you're in for something special - the bag staff are friendly, the practice facilities terrific and a shop filled with collectables! The course routing is ingenious, crescent-shaped along the Fife coast, with holes on 3 separate levels providing sea views from every fairway. A definite MUST play while you're in St Andrews but it is expensive.

Kingsbarns Course and the entire staff were superb. Lindsey was our caddie on day one and we kept him busy raking bunkers. He was very helpful with a great sense of humor. The course was very fair and only slightly intimidating. The starter was awesome to get us going and the pace of play was excellent. We played a second day, weather was cool and sunny, with good winds (20 mph). We did not use a caddie for day two (only because we played the previous day) and this probably added a few strokes. Took lots of awesome pictures, what a great location.

Fantastically set up course with a lot of small details. Challenging but not so challenging that it’s impossible to play. Keep the ball low with all those sea breezes!
