The Museum is located on the Scores in St Andrews and is home to St Salvator's Mace, which is still used in Graduation and Welcome ceremonies to this day. The museum has four galleries, a 'Learning Loft' and a viewing terrace with stunning panoramic views over St Andrews Bay. MUSA is family friendly and its galleries feature a number of fun hands-on interactives as well as an art cart which is full of creative activities for children from dressing up to drawing. Very interesting wee museum. It's on the way to the castle and cathedral so well worth popping in. It's free admission and the history of the university and the town are well worth a read. You will enjoy the stop off as very informative.

Small, but well done, this free museum is definitely worth a visit. Lovely building with a great view. Kid friendly - there's red robes to try on and wear as you learn university history and tradition. Plan on 30 mins.

We are very glad that you enjoyed your visit and that it made up for the awful weather!! MUSA also has lots of drop in craft activities which are great if the Scottish weather is being a bit unpredictable!!
