Wonderful place to visit
Oct 2019
Apart from the beautiful old buildings of the university, St Salvator's chapel is well worth visiting. Foundedin 1450, you can still see the remains of this ancient church and the tomb of Bishop Kennedy, the founder.

Great Location & Friendly People
Sep 2019
Took my daughter there a few weeks ago. Liked it so much we decided to stay for 5 days. Had a great time in town with lots of historic buildings, 👍 restaurants, pubs and cafes + quality shops. Calm and friendly and just the right size. Lovely countryside and beaches nearby + a golfer's mecca!
Uni has good facilities and a historic feeling of quality, but seems far friendlier that Oxbridge etc.

Had to see where a prince and future princess met!
Aug 2019
If you are a William and Kate fan or just a fan of beautiful universities with parklike settings and gorgeous buildings, then a quick visit to the main quad of the University of St Andrews is needed. It is located on North Street - look for the red clock face on the church tower. This is a great place to see the beauty of the buildings, chapel and grounds. While there, read some of the fun traditions students of the school partake in. I was actually shocked to see the prices at the school were not as steep as I'd imagined (about $30,000USD per year) although I am sure their admissions process is quite selective. There are many private schools in the United States that cost much much more with little to no chance of meeting a prince there - haha.
