This historic building is steeped in history. It dates back to the 1850s, when it was the station master’s lodge and the history and heritage live on. Today, The Jigger Inn is home to golfing memorabilia, crackling open-hearth fires, home-cooked food and a superb selection of Scottish beers – this is traditional Scottish pub hospitality at its very best. Fondly referred to as ‘the towns best 19th hole’ and much loved by the many celebrities who visit.

On a 4 day visit we had to have a pint in the famous Jigger Inn. You can only sample the Jigger Ale in this bar given its not available anywhere else in the world. Cosy with great enthusiastic staff making this a must visit if you go to St Andrews. In truth we visited every day!

I would highly recommend a visit here - the staff were very warm and friendly. Go when there is no golf on otherwise I'm not sure you would find a spacious. Quirky and comfortable.

Each time we come to St Andrews we have lunch or supper here. It is the old train station that has been converted to a pub. The food and ambience is so St Andrews. Our typical choice is the fish and chips with mushy peas and a pint of Jigger Inn ale. It is a fantastic spot. Service and food... More

Really great place to settle in by the fire to have a snack and pint reflecting on the day past and one ahead. No difficulty finding a table in February!

I'm so impressed! My husband and I stayed at the old course in the end of November. I have never been to Scotland before, let me just say "the jigger inn" a pub attached to the old course made my trip. I had so many plans to walk about see sights and enjoy all of my surroundings....I was unable to... More

Visited The Jigger on New Years Day 2016. Found the staff and service to be very welcoming and efficient. Enjoyed soft drinks and Fish & Chips which were very good! In summary a very small and cozy pub with lots of history and a great feel to it! Would recommend.
