Award winning Blackness Castle, Three Bridges Cruise with Cream Tea

9 reviews
Blackness Castle, Three Bridges and Cream Tea Cruise - take in views of Blackness Castle, the ship that never sails and featured in Outlander. There are also views of Limekilns village, mentioned in Robert Louis Stevenson's Kidnapped. It was from Limekilns that David Balfour and Alan Breck were carried across the Forth in a rowing boat. You will also see the Three Bridges as you have never seen them before.

For your comfort relax onboard in the observation lounge or on the outside decks and listen to the guided commentary while you enjoy a drink from the bar. The Marine Wildlife, during your tour, you will find plenty of opportunities to see a wide variety of marine wildlife including seabirds, porpoises and seals.

Visited with our young son, he had a great time but this was his first time doing mini golf. We only used the outdoor course which was alright, we were round it quite quickly. I thought a lot of the sections were quite similar compared to other places I've visited before where there is more variety which is why I marked it down a bit. Putters all go in a bucket of disinfectant or soap at the end of the game. Probably would visit again only because our son really enjoyed it

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for your feedback. We have tried to create the course to be able to be accessed by people of all ages and abilities and to allow wheelchair users to navigate our courses easily too. We are always looking to add new features and special effects to make our complex stand out and we hope to see you and your family back at Adventure Golf Island in the not too distant future. Kind regards, Jay

We went for the first time a few weeks ago and found it fun to play the course. We were advised of the social distancing and to stay clear from the course until the next person was finished their game and we did this unfortunately the group of 6 girls behind us did not and any closer we would of been giving them piggyback rides. Several groups behind them were the same and it all ended up one large gathering. That was off putting for us so we will leave it to return I till it’s safe to do so

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad to hear that you had fun on our course. We are sorry to hear that some players disrupted your game, we do advise customers to be mindful of others and observe social distancing/allow the group in front to move fully onto the next hole before the group behind starts. We now have both courses available and we are open 7 days a week, so we hope to see you back again soon! Kind regards, Jay

The actual game was alright but sadly Adventure Golf Island do seem to have numpties (supposedly Managers) working there, they seem incapable of realising that without customers they would not be open!

Just had a bad experience Adventure Golf Island. We booked my 5 year old to play a round of mini golf online. He managed to score a hole in one on the 18th hole which we could not believe and got a free go . We went today to take him and they refused to let him use it unless we paid for us to go around when we weren't even playing! We now have one upset little boy. Just wanted to make people aware that they aren't honouring prizes and what an awful experience we have had. General manager did not care that he has lost our custom.

Hi, We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us. If you could send us an e-mail to office@advetnure-golf-island.com, we will look to put things right for you and make your next experience an enjoyable one. On our course we do require at least two players to play specifically during peak periods (weekends, school holidays) as we have found that there is a lot of waiting in between the holes to play as you play much faster than larger groups and so there is almost as much time waiting than there is playing which we think detracts from the overall experience which is why we have this policy. We hope to hear from you soon and see you back at Adventure Golf Island very soon! Kind regards, Jay
