We used Cameron Tours a few years ago for a one-day private excursion off a cruise ship. So when we planned a 30-day tour of the U.K., with 10 days in Scotland, we didn't hesitate to hire Cameron Tours again. Dave is an entertaining and knowledgeable guide - and a good singer! He is a native Scotsman and wears a... More

Cameron arranged a 5 day tour of the Highlands and Skye for 6 adult members of my family. We were picked up by Dave in Edinburgh and for the next four days had his complete attention as we were driven to various sites and a new B&B every night. Dave was entertaining and informative, and provided exceptional level of personal... More

This was a five day, four night trip for my brothers and me and spouses to explore the country of our ancestors. The company worked closely with us ahead of time to plan a basic itinerary and arrange for comfortable places to stay. During the trip, Dave Cameron was very knowledgeable about Scottish history, culture, and nature. He always had... More

Dave Cameron organised an excellent day tour for a group of friends that included a very enjoyable trip to the Glenkinchie distillery, a picnic and visits to Rosslyn Chapel and the Scottish Mining Museum. This was all rounded off with a traditional Scottish 'high tea'. Dave is a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who clearly loves his work. His... More

Dave and Maureen organised a very well planned mystery tour for our group friends yesterday to Glenkinchie distillery for a tasting tour of VERY good whisky. After a picnic lunch we headed of onto Rosslyn Chapel with its amazing history & stone carvings followed by a visit to Newtongrange mining museum for a very interesting insight to Scotlands deap coal... We hired Cameron Tours of Scotland for a three day tour of Scotland. The tour consisted of the highlands, lock ness, Isle of Skye and Oban. The tour exceeded all expectations and our guide "Dave" was fantastic and very Knowledgeable. I would recommend Cameron Tours to anyone. If you are a seafood fan, stay in Oban an extra day. Some... Our family has travelled a lot together, and this is the absolute hands-down BEST tour we have ever taken. Dave and Maureen are a great team, between his knowledge of history and the area and her logistic abilities! We didn't have a minute of worry, all our reservations went smoothly, and other than having some attractions closed due to flooding... More

Like so many of the other reviews, we were planning a trip to Scotland to search for ancestors and get a taste of Scotland. The problem is I am mobility handicapped and getting on and off trains, buses or even cabs is wearing. We researched tours and the large bus tour is not for us either. So we wrote to... More

Did a boys trip to Scotland and started planning with Maureen about 8 months in advance. I made her absolutely crazy! She answered all of my questions, and worked VERY hard to put together a fantastic trip for us. We had activity piled on activity. When I told her I really wanted to take my friends to race cars and... More
