About
Scampers is a family-owned purpose built soft play centre for children aged 0-12 years. We have three specific play areas to cater for different ages. The farmyard area is for children aged 0-2 years, the jungle area is for children aged 3-5 years, and the under-the-sea area is for children aged 6-12 years. We also host kids birthday parties in our two special party rooms. Our café sells tasty food, homemade treats, and drinks to please even the fussiest little people! We hope to welcome you to Scampers soon!

Rude customer service
Feb 2020 • Family
I love soft plays for my little girl and found the soft play enjoyable with lots to do. However, I paid for two hours of soft play and this would take us to closing time. Decided to leave ten minutes before closing to allow staff to tidy and get home. I was trying to encourage my daughter to activate the door to leave (as part of our leaving routine) and asked her to push the button. When leaving I heard a member of staff making fun of me and my daughter saying that “I was pushing their buttons” and two other members of staff started to laugh and join in with the derogatory talk. I don’t find this appropriate as a paying customer and especially not as I was with a very young child who had also helped staff members clean up instead of playing. Very, very poor customer service and won’t be returning which is a shame because my girl had a great time.

Kids soft play
Aug 2019
The soft play building is at the edge of an business park and is really easy to find. It'll keep the kids occupied for ages. There is a area for children 0-5 but its not suitable for babies in my opinion. min age of 1+. The cafe is good and the staff friendly and efficient. A good way to spend a few hours.

Mahhhhh, it is what it is

Pleasant enough staff. A bit pricey for over 5’s as comparable price to local indoor plays that offer a bit more dimension. Safe enough. Food bog standard but what kids will actually eat, and the same overpricing seen elsewhere locally. Nothing special, but meets a need on a cold miserable day. If you have the time and energy better and cheaper to create your own activity and food. Won’t bother going back.

First Visit
Jan 2019
Visited today with my daughter, my friend and her 2 boys, had to wait about 10 mins for a table that was ok got into the soft play area too many tables crammed in, ordered food it was served quickly, soft play areas all appeared good and the kids enjoyed them. Toilets could of done with a tidy but the place was very busy and the staff were kept busy.

Fab soft play

Our first time here, 2 adults with 3 children aged 7,6 and 2! Place is clean and tidy with lots to do for all ages! None of the kids complained about being bored! We had a groupon voucher but wouldn’t hesitate to pay full price! Cafe was well stocked and food was lovely and reasonably priced! Would definitely come back

Not worth the money
Dec 2018 • Family
Mey with a friend and we went with our kids. I'd never been before.
First impressions were good - nice exterior with off-road parking. Reception area tidy with welcoming staff. We paid and through we went to the play area. It was a good size and again tidy.
The disappointment started when I realised that I had paid £4.50 for my 1yr old to play in the same area as children younger than him who are charged £1 or nothing was ridiculous.
To 'play' by the rules I kept him in the designated area, for his age - there was hardly anything for him... a small ball pool and some foam shapes... £4.50!!
There were other parents/carers who must've been before and ignored the rules and took their young children in to the adjoining area that was designated for ages 2-5yrs.
There was a good choice of food and portions were of a good size. All staff we spoke to were friendly enough.

Really enjoyable
Dec 2018 • Family
Visiting from Liverpool we looked for somewhere to exhaust our 2-year-old and found Scampers. We were all very impressed by what was on offer for the little one. She's very adventurous so didn't stick to the little ones' area, but we felt that with the sitting area in the middle, we could easily keep an eye on her. This is much better than other soft plays we have visited in our area of Liverpool; surprisingly spacious and with lots of levels of activities. We will happily visit again next time we go to Dunfermline.

Nice enough
Oct 2018 • Friends
Me and my friends took 3 children here for a day out. Two 2 and a half year olds and a 5 month old. Staff at reception where not believing us in regards to the childrens ages. The soft play itself was great and the girls enjoyed themselves. It was good to have the areas seperated for the younger ones. Food and drink not the cheapest but you are stuck buying it as you can't bring anything else in. The staff need to work on customer service but apart from that the kids enjoyed it.

Super Play Centre
Apr 2018 • Family
We have visited Scampers for the last 2 years when visiting relatives in nearby Dalgety Bay.
We go to a lot of play centres with our 5 year old daughter, Scampers must rank as one of the better ones.
Always lovely and clean. The staff are really helpful and friendly.
Although small compared to other play centres, it still gives our daughter 2 hours of entertainment.
Highly recommended.
