There are so many towns do not have open spaces like this ,locals are quite spoiled with to great parks . This is very popular with dog walkers ,Joggers ,cyclists and folk just out for a stroll It runs from Appin Crescent in the North down to the Railway station in the south. Popular with kids kicking a ball about there is a grand stand and a small play area . Events are often held around the band stand .

Needed to blow off some steam, so we came for a stroll around here. A really beautiful, well maintained park. Definitely one to visit if in the area.

Great park for a walk with the dog, plenty room for him to run around. The kids love the new play park, which keeps them amused for a couple of hours, well worth a visit.

Had a stroll through this lovely park not to be confused with the Pittencrieff Park at the west end of the town . A lot of money has been spent on creating a new playpark in the hollow near the Bandstand .It has a lot going for it with music festivals now being held through the summer period .Well used with cyclists ,dog walkers and folk just out for a stroll

This place is a heaven on earth. It is big, green, full of old and high trees and it is very well organized. I really relaxed during my three hours tour inside this park. You see wide green grass and narrow tree covered water streams that take your breath away while you are filled with the sences from around you.

A lovely place to visit, very quite and well kept. The squirrels whom come up to you to be fed is a lovely bonus as well as the small but beautiful garden under the Abbey

Well used by joggers and dog walkers had a pleasant walk through the park with good views over the Forth Valley . I notice the children's play park has been dismantled and not replaced which is a shame as many families take their children for a walk down here.
The fountain and the bandstand are in good nick and the path down to the railway station always has people on it

The public park is a lovely part of the town it has so much potential. It's a shame it's mostly 🐕 walkers , wee music festivals by the bandstand would be great. In the winter ice skating and roasting chestnuts also. Just a shame it's not used.

This is the less publicised park in the town but still well used by locals it is not used so much by kids nowadays .As I grew up there were always football kickabouts going on folk with tennis rackets and even golf clubs ....times have moved on . The tree lined middle walk is starting to look neglected with grass growing through the tarmac .The play area is now fenced off and derelict . The Bandstand is in good condition and is used when there is an event for a disco
