- katie s147 contributionsClean cinema with plenty of screensClean today cinema Friendly polite staff Plenty of screens with escalator’s going up or down from the main entrance Prices if snacks and drinks way overpriced - minstrels etc prices at £3.99! Way over double shops price , small popcorn almost £6 but as others have mentioned you can take your own in . Recliners are comfy enough and come with a small table for drink and snacks. Find it odd that the tree seats we booked the tow on the end were marginally higher than the rest of the row which meant one of us was sat at a lower height - felt a tad odd.Visited May 2022Traveled with familyWritten May 30, 2022
- Scoosh77Wick, United Kingdom512 contributionsGreat Nights Viewing at Great PricesAttended the screening of “The Invisible Man” here with my girlfriend for an evening showing. Paid £4.99 a ticket which is very reasonable to some I have been at. All the usual goodies to buy before entering a new, top of the range cinematic experience 👍🏻Visited March 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten March 10, 2020
- Ian BBurton upon Trent, United Kingdom139 contributionsVery comfortableWe went to see 1917 in the evening. The time was our second choice, but it was a last minute visit. There are 3 classes of seat, ours being a recliner with a table and drink holder. The sound was good and the view good. It was stunningly quiet throughout the film. Good offering of snacks if required.Visited February 2020Written February 15, 2020
- MikeKinross102 contributionsUnusual business modelVisited today, 6th November, 2021. There was no indication whatsoever of the films presently being screened. We asked an attendant if there was a list anywhere. He said there was not. He told us we would have to link up to find out what was being screened or alternatively return to ask him the same question in 30 minutes time. Not sure what the 30 minutes had to do with it, as the attendant did not appear to us to be busy, nor was there anybody else waiting for his attention. All a bit of a mystery to us and certainly a very strange business model indeed. Perhaps, easier to screen films from the comfort of one’s home?Visited November 2021Written November 6, 2021
- ScottOag29 contributionsDon't pay expensive for prices, take your own!Yes, it's allowed. Vue policy states can take own food ând drink, as long as not smelly food or alcoholic drink. If can afford it, then good, support them they do rely on the income to pay staff. But if can't afford, take own goodies, coffee etc guilt free. The staff are aware of this and won't embarrass you. If they try, tell them you've read the policy. Google it yourself if you don't believe me.Visited January 2020Traveled soloWritten February 3, 2020
- Ferg J40 contributionsFinally, a cinema that understands their customers. I can't fault themI am so pleased with the Vue at Ocean Terminal for a number of reasons 1) No charges for online bookings, same online as in person (fantastic) 2) Very affordable (around half the price of other cinemas and less for child showings at weekends) Finally the cinema is a treat I can enjoy with my family without any worries about how much I have spent 3) The seating - Now all luxury recliners in all the screens - the way it should be 4) Staff very polite and helpful 5) Free parking But most of all I can afford to go more often and treat my family, this is fantastic for me and makes me want to come back again and again. Only grumble - toilets need more regular cleaning Well done VUE be proud of yourselvesVisited February 2019Traveled with familyWritten March 15, 2019

- Bubblefish77United Kingdom143 contributionsLuxuryVery surprised at prices, very reasonable and all very comfortable reclining seats. Very clean, good sound and screens. Only thing was a load of kids had come in and tried their luck taking other patrons seats, there was quite a bit of disturbance getting them to move etc I'd like to add this wasn't by the staff but by fed up paying public. Fortunately it didn't spoil the film.Visited October 2019Traveled with familyWritten October 31, 2019
- Craig P10 contributionsNot a bad cinemaSome of the staff could do with training, losing their self importance attitude. The seating wasn't exactly comfotable, although the little snack tray was a nice touch. Surprised at how empty the place was.Visited October 2019Written October 12, 2019

What kind of business neither tells you what it is they are showing or allows you to access their website to find out. Then ask for help and see what happens. If this is the future, I am very glad I don't have children. What a big stupid mess. It happened before when their pay machine didn't work and I couldn't get a answer about what was on. I had to drive back to my flat, scraping the back of my car in the car park in the process of driving angry. I don't ever want to return to Vue facility, it's not working and you're throwing money and customers down the drain, with carelessness and downright awkward stupidity. If I was CEO of this substandard company, the marketing strategy manager would be sacked on the instantly. Pathetic unhelpfull and clueless. What a combination. No thanks.

On our many trips to Edinburgh we often go to the cinema, and now always come to the Vue cinema as the seating and whole cinema experiences is as good as it can me.
