About
We are a recently opened cozy little shop in Edinburgh city center area selling 100% natural scented candles. Our candles are handmade in our workshop in Isle of Skye using natural soya wax and fragranced with scents inspired and created by nature. This gives our candles a fresh fragrant scent to re-invigorate your senses.

Really lovely experience, such a chatty lad who served us. Considering it’s our first time visiting Edinburgh, he helped us find spots to visit. Will definitely be ordering online when I get home!!!

Wonderful experience

Great experience. I was welcomed by the young man as I entered. He was kind enough to let me browse a bit before asking if I needed any help. I needed help as I just wanted to buy them all. He asked me about what I like from a candle and how big the room I was using the candle for. In a matter of seconds he recommend a Scottish Bluebell candle and as I smelled it. I knew that was the one. Funny it was probably the only one I didn’t smell in the shop. He was very experienced and gave me tips and tricks on how to get the best out of my candle. I can’t stop raving about how much I loved the whole thing. The shop the displays the music the staff. I felt like a kid in a candy shop. I will be back for more with my empty for that discount.

Fantastic shop - eco friendly candles
Jul 2019 • Couples
The shop is very welcoming and the man behind the candle was up for a chat, very funny and welcoming.
The products themselves are excellent and competitively prices with brands such as Yankee and Woodwick.
What makes these candles stand apart though is the soya wax they are made from and scents that are notably different to other major brands.

Me and my partner absolutely loved this shop and will continue to buy their products for the foreseeable future.

Nice shop, great candles

I love the Isle of Skye candles and diffusers. They have a good range of scents and sizes, I really like the ginger and nutmeg tumblers. They are good quality and burn well and they also are made with soy wax. The shop on West Bow is very cute with helpful staff.

An interesting experience, which both my wife and myself enjoyed, it was very cleverly done as to how candles are made here

Gorgeous little shop!

A little gem on the Grassmarket, the staff were so friendly and the shop was a dream, but a little small so don't all pack in at once! Beautiful fragrances. I bought Bohemian Rose candle and a little cow brooch, the girl on the till was very friendly and laid back. I'd recommend the new Scottish range. The bags are lovely and you get a little pamphlet in candle care. Support these small businesses, they deserve it!

Good but not great
Apr 2015 • Solo
This is a lovely little shop with a friendly staff, although only one person works at a time because it is so small. I purchased three large candles as I couldn't decide between scents.

Pros: Wide variety of amazing scents, all soy-based candles, beautiful packaging to give as gifts

Cons: I've never had such a difficult time lighting a wick! It's almost as if they are made of a flame retardant material. It will smoke, and sputter, turns ashy and crumbles, but will take three or four tries before it actually lights.
The scent is very faint when lit, no matter how strongly perfumed the wax itself seems. If you're looking for something that will add scent to a room, this isn't a good choice, as it's barely noticeable.
The wax doesn't burn evenly, so after each use you have to scrape the sides of the jar to make sure you aren't left with half the candle unmelted but the centre completely gone.
Price is a bit steep at £5 for a tea light and £15 for a large, which burns for about 10-15 hours.
