It was a cloudy, foggy day. Driver was terrific. Sterling castle? Save your money, next to nothing to see. Edinburgh castle is closer, bigger and better. More to see. Glengoyne was nice but all in all, a long day of sitting in a bus with 3 lackluster stops along the way.

We booked a private day tour from Edinburgh with Keith and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We toured Stirling, Wallace monument, Bannock Burn and the Kelpies. Keith was so knowledgeable, passionate and kind and he truly showed us amazing Scottish hospitality. We cannot wait to return and will certainly be using Heart of Scotland tours and hopefully Keith again soon. He truly made our tour unforgettable.

The bus was very comfortable even for such a long trip. Keith is an extremely knowledgable guide and was able to answer questions about places we visited and about Scottis history beyond the established routine. He was also considerate of the needs of the people on the tour, making sure we had all the amenities including food and comfort stops.

What a fabulous day trip from Edinburgh. We got a great mix of getting to see some wilds of Scotland away from the city, and going to the lovely Glengoyne. From the research I did, and from our tour guide, this is a great alternative to a tour all the way to Loch Ness, which is why we chose it. We got to really spend time at lovely places, Stirling castle had GOREGOUS views, and didn't spend all day in the car. We had Ewan as our tour guide, and he was AMAZING! He really listened to what we wanted to do, and even took us to get sandwiches instead of to a pub, so that we could maximize our sightseeing time. We really enjoyed our tour, and would easily recommend to our friends.
