Great course , greens were in top condition firm but receptive , got to play off the back tees , £50 for a full summer round but well worth it

Me and 15 of my friends played this cracking course on sunday 15th May on our annual golf outing.
The course is a great test of your game and was in excellent condition.
Greens were firm and quite hard to hold but were in tiptop condition.If you picked your line and started your ball on it there was every chance of making your putt.
The clubhouse was very inviting also and all the staff and members we spoke to were very welcoming.
This is a course my friends and i will keep firmly on our radar and we will certainly return if our outing takes us down to this region in the future.

Me and my friends went to the golf club a couple days ago and it was going alright, it took us a while to actually be able to play the golf but that wasn't really the issue, the problem was that the other people playing golf were being horrible to us, they were shoving us and saying that were bad at golf (we know, we have no experience 😑) after we played golf for a bit we went to go get some food, the food was burnt despite the food being cold?!?! The staff weren't that nice either as they kept giving us weird looks despite us doing nothing wrong? In conclusion none of us had a good time, don't go.

Dear Zoe. We are saddened to read your comments. There is no record of your group visiting our course to play golf during the timeframe you have given. All visitors to the course are required to make a reservation and check in at the Pro Shop. If you can provide a tee time and booking details, we will gladly look into this matter for you.

Took my partner and friend here for lunch as have just moved in to local area and though we would try it out. My friend an I had the trio of roast meets - absolutely lovely. My partner had the fish pie which he said was [packed with fish. Good value food and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will return. Lovely room too.

Went for lunch on the 18th at the alfresco dinning it was amazing 10 out of 10 so good only round the corner from me will definitely be back and recommend highly and staff were amazing x

My wife and I were holidaying on the golf-coast and fancied an inland track for a change so rang directly to book a morning tee time. The course was easy to find and the professional was really friendly, talking us through the course plan and then getting us off just ahead of our booked time.
Playing off 5 and 29 we both thought that the course was delightful. Generous fairways allowed for the errant drive (or two!) although scoring was still tricky due to the 15-20 mph winds, plenty of bunkers and a few subtle green undulations. The greens ran very true and were quick enough to enjoy without being too slick to generate a sense of panic when putting. The course was fairly busy with 3- & 4-balls but pace of play was good and we got round in a respectable 3 hours 15 mins.
We will definitely return when we're in need of a 'non-links' fix or just maybe to enjoy a friendly and fair test of golf.

Three of us played The Musselbugh Golf Club at Monkton Hall, Edinburgh, all for the first time. We were all looking forward to it and often in these cases one is disappointed. Not here. From the warm welcome in the Pro's shop, the friendliness of the greens staff to the lovely layout of the course, which is easy walking, all of us were impressed. Will certainly visit again

The main Photograph is wrong. The phot is of Royal Musselburgh Golf Course. The Musselburgh Golf Club is at Monktonhall Musselburgh just off the A1 and A720 Edinburgh City Bypass.
