There are a few military museums in Edinburgh Castle and if you are into military history the you will enjoy them. If not then it is worth a look as you may find something to interest you.

It's a nice museum, but if you want to read everything there you will spend too much time. However, is worth to pay a visit, due to it's included in the Edinburg castle visit.

Contained within the walls of Edinburgh castle this is a superb museum to Scotlands oldest Regiment who can trace their history back to the 1500's. A wonderful display of uniforms and artefacts and medals won by the Regiment. Easily understood written history charts to peruse.

Scotland, like it's neighbours is steeped in history from it's tribal beginnings to clan wars, to English rule, to the referendum of 2014. Nearly all of this can be seen here represented from the military view of the Royal Scots Regiment. A very informative museum...More
