Nice church
Oct 2018
We walked past this church every day during our stay in Edinburgh as our hotel happened to be just further up the road. It's a lovely looking building and it's quite nice inside too. The architecture is typical of this gothic style which we love. It's worth stopping by if you happen to be in the vicinity.

Pilrig St. Paul's Church
Aug 2016 • Couples
This impressive French-Gothic designed church sits on the historic boundary between Leith and Edinburgh. It is open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 am to 12: 30 pm, when visitors can drop in for a cup of tea or coffee and view the sanctuary. The interior of the church boasts some stunning examples of stained glass by the famous Scottish artist and designer Daniel Cotter, a beautiful vaulted ceiling, and an historic pipe organ by Forster and Andrews. Sunday worship is at 11 am.

Landmark Church
Aug 2015 • Solo
Pilrig St Paul's Church is a landmark Church, with its prominent spire, sitting on the corner of Pilrig Street and Leith Walk at the old boundary between Leith and Edinburgh.
Outwith Sunday morning worship, the Church is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11am and 1pm for quiet time in the sanctuary (with refreshments available too). This would allow the chance to see the Cottier Rose window, which is a vividly coloured stained glass window.
Outwith the architectural aspect of the Church, it is an active congregation in its parish in Leith.

Artistically it is a very beautiful church, walking through the streets of the city I noticed this architectural wonder.
Definitely not among the top attractions of the city but I appreciated its beauty even just admiring it from the outside.

wonderful acoustics and atmosphere
May 2011
The Gloria and the Coronation in one wonderful afternoon concert followed by tea in the vestry with the choir and the wonderful ladies guild provided a veritable banquet .Thanks ladies a magnificent concert followed by a wonderful occasion.
There are 5 or 6 active choirs practicing here.
If one local church can do this what is holding the other ones back?
