A visit on a very cold day, it was interesting but a bit dull really. Had no kids with us that day but I think if we had they would have been bored and anxious to leave. Some of the information was entertaining but overall the best bit was buying some fudge from the shop.

you are given an audio device that allows you to do the tour at your own pace (check the battery life before you start) if a section is busy, you can go back to it as you enter the number of the section you are at & it tells you about it. The cafe on board is nice & reasonably... More

It's one of those places you have always been meaning to visit but just not got round to doing! We were in Edinburgh on a crisp, frosty November morning and found ourselves with time on our hands. Visiting Royal Yacht Britannia was definitely a good choice. The sun was shining and the inner harbour side was frozen over in places,... More

I absolutely adored our visit to Britannia! My husband reluctantly got dragged along with me, but he loved it as well! We spent around 4 hours on board, but that included a lazy late lunch, supping wine and gazing out to the bay. The food, service and wine were all superb! I loved glimpsing into how the Royal family lived,... More

Visited as our friend spent 7 years of yacht. Well organised, friendly staff. Cafe and gift shop. Lifts, wheel chair friendly. Glad we went.

The self-guided tour around the ship was very good. We were surprised that we were able to see the Queen’s and Prince Philip’s private apartments and bedrooms on the ship - it was amazing to see so much of the way the Queen and the royal family lived on board. We liked the nice touch of having toy corgis in... More

Touring this yacht and watching the Netflix series "The Crown" is highly recommended. An excellent picture of the life of the Royal Family.

A fabulous place to visit. Allow a good 4 hours for an unhurried walk round the yacht with a personal audio tour. So very interesting and such an experience. Very friendly, helpful and informative staff throughout.

This is a must see, it is truly spectacular, an amazing adventure into history and a tragedy this ship was de commissioned or not replaced, it brought in so much revenue. A disgrace really !!!! We would have paid double the price. Allow plenty of time and enjoy the yachts tea room, looking out over the bay. Easy to get... More
