The World Famous Underground Ghost Tour

787 reviews
At street level, Edinburgh is a peaceful and pretty city—but the subterranean tunnels below tell an entirely different story. On this ghostly walking tour, explore historic sites including Greyfriars Kirkyard and St. Giles’ Cathedral with your enthusiastic guide, and hear chilling tales of murder and revenge. Delve down into underground caverns normally closed to the public, and learn of Edinburgh’s grim and gruesome past.

I visited the Royal Yacht with my father. My father served in the Royal Navy and I worked in the North Sea oil and gas industry so we both have a keen interest in all things maritime. It was a windy day and even though the ship was not moving at all (it was sheltered due to the wind direction) we were told that the bridge and engine room were out of bounds for health and safety reasons due to the weather. For my father and I those would be the most interesting areas of any ship. Very disappointing.

I visited the venue with my family for the first time. Very informative and joyful trip. Specially the Royal Tea Bar is superb and we had a lovely tea there. Must recommend for people visiting Edinburgh.

We all enjoyed the tour, including 11 year old. Excellent idea for the kids to spot the corgis. Well worth the admission price.
