this is the last yacht of the British Royal family. You are bound to see the states rooms the Queens and the Prince's room. the yacht that has been the honeymoon vessel of the royals and used by many of them including Princess Diana. Countless head of states were entertained here as well well. The yacht has a bar that... More

What an experience to see the home that the Queen and her family loved so much. You can tell that this was a true home to the Queen. Everything about this yacht was amazing - including the immaculate engine room. Definitely recommend this if you visit Edinburgh.

Went along with a group of 6 adults and wasn't sure what to expect, especially as I'm not really into the royal family in any great way. A great adventure around the boat. Audio guides one of the better guides I have used. Lunch was expensive but equally very nice (after I sent back my stale sandwich!). We had a... More

We did all the requisite visits to as many places as we could fit into our three day Edinburgh stay. The Brittania was ,to us, the best , and most interesting. The castle is amazing, but lots of work to figure out, and if the weathers is against you, not the best choice. This yacht, shows the lengths that the... More

great to visit this iconic yacht. Found it very interesting to see how the Royals spent their time here and the running of the whole operation. I can see why they loved it so much.

We loved the experience on the Royal Yacht Britannia. We took a tour bus and explored the Yacht which boasts the history of the royal family using the yacht over time. We explored the entire ship and dressed up in sailor hats for photo opps. The tour had museum radios with tour information. You can pre-schedule tea as part of... More

This is definitely the effort and the entrance money. It is a touch of British Nostalgia from the early 1950's. I loved every minute of it and there is something there for everybody to enjoy. If in Edinburgh do make the effort as Leith is only a couple of miles from the city centre and easy to reach by car... More

Awesome experience to see this historical yacht of Queen Elizabeth's. The rooms are furnished just how she left them..down to some of her personal items, hairbrush, games, family photographs and gifts she received as head of state. Also, you get to see the captain's and crew's quarters, even the mini surgical unit. This is a must see.
