While in Edinburgh we visited the Britannia. It was a wonderful tour. The recorder given to us with all of the information concerning the Royals & the Britannia was very helpful. It’s amazing how much history had been made and seen on that yacht.

An excellent exhibition that really does the Royal Yacht proud. The audio guide provides a great commentary and gives you a real feeling of what it must have been like to be on board. A little expensive to get in, but really worth it.

Great tour. My wife and caught the hop-on, hop-off tour bus from the centre of town and spent 2 hours on-board. Including the bus it was a half-day trip - well worth taking the time to visit. Highly recommended

Very nice to tour the yacht. The included recorded tour was greatly appreciated. The car parking is free, but had some difficultly getting a spot.

I, like many I am sure, was particularly interested in the yacht because of having watched The Crown on Netflix. This Royal Yacht did not disappoint, this was my favourite spot in Edinburgh. The yacht is a treasure trove of history and is very well...More

Great if you really like the royal family or ships, not as exciting otherwise. The audio tour is included and works well.

Thank you for your question. We generally recommend that you allow around 2 hours to complete the tour, and longer if you would like to include a visit to our Royal Deck Tea Room. However, as the tour is self-guided, with... More
