I travelled with Yvonne. I would have liked to tip, but I am a student and not working at the moment. However, I can say that she was charming, very nice and informative. I hope for her the best in the company as well as for this company as a whole. Beautiful scottish landscapes!

At first it is scary to think of the distance you will travel, but at first our guide Mahri told us about it and that we would still have a nice time. we did not see the monster in the lake but we heard lots of stories and scotland is beautiful. you get a sandwich and shortbread too, this was... I've just come back from a 3 day Skye High tour and it was fantastic! Our driver Eve-on (Yvonne) had great stories to tell of Scottish history and tales of how mountains were formed. The lodge we stayed at was comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff on tour all appeared to love their job which made it extra... More

We took the highland tour to St. Augustus to see Loch Ness. Beautiful scenery along the way, but a long day for just a couple of hours there. What made it great was our driver and guide, Kirsty. She was a good driver, great historian and paced the drive very well. Don't do this if you hate being in a... More

I went on the Skye High trip (3 days, 2 nights) and it was totally worth it! Gill, our guide, made us have the greatest time, showing us some of the greatest views of Skye Isle, but also Glencoe and some other parts of the Highlands. She also can take your special demands if there is something you really want... More

Had a fantastic tour with DJ Davey Dave, Caitlin and Graham. So much fun and learnt so much about Scotland. Thankfully my arm didn't hurt too long after the pint glass challenge and no injuries from table dancing. Would highly recommend this tour and these fantastic fun and informative guides

This was my third visit to Scotland, and it was about time that I'd get to see something outside the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Haggis Adventures offered a perfectly suitable opportunity to do this, and I attended a day trip around Perthshire with my sister. The group on that day consisted of us and two other people, and we... More

Just finished an amazing Sky High Tour with Dave, Graham and Caitlin! Learnt so much about Scotlands history and was able to picture it all with all of the scenery we were able to view. Even though it was only the start of spring, all of the views were spectacular! Would highly recommend for anyone on their first (or second)... More

Staying in Old Town

Neighborhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavored souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
