Pleasant harbour with lots of small boats and a handsome lighthouse. The harbour area is surrounded with lots of great restaurants, pubs and coffee houses. Good place for a pleasant walk with views over the Forth towards Fife.
Excellent location for eating out and visiting Leith and the Royal yacht Britannia.

It’s nice for a quick visit, and a stroll around and you can see a small lighthouse. There is a fish and chip place there if you want a bite to eat but overall even though it’s charming I wouldn’t say it’s anything to go out of your way to visit

Great spot for a bit of fishing ,all the way around the coastline from the harbour to the docks entrance - especially for mackerel with feathers and spinners.

We visited Newhaven Harbour late in the evening to watch the sun come down and it was very picturesque and the small lighthouse added to the attraction.

Newhaven Harbour is simply magical.
Definitely one of the most romantic place of the city.
Suggested during sunset, or summer nights.
