Edinburgh Darkside Walking Tour: Mysteries, Murder and Legends

1,624 reviews
The atmospheric city of Edinburgh is best explored by night, when tales of mystery and murder are at their most frightening. Discover the dark side of Scotland's capital on a historical walking tour that covers Edinburgh’s morbid past. Wind your way through the cobbled streets of Calton Hill, North Bridge, and Canongate cemetery, all of which are inaccessible by coach bus or car, and listen to stories that focus on torture, treason, and death.

Excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our massages. Kim was wonderful. You fitted us in at short notice and we highly recommend your treatments. Thank you again.

I went here for waxing and a massage and I was really impressed with the quality of service. The staff were really accommodating when I was booking the appointment. The therapist who took care of me was really professional, friendly and clearly highly experienced. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely go back.

The girls at The Secret Beauty Garden are amazing. So this is one of the easiest reviews to leave... I am a real stickler at trying new things. Especially, massage treatments. For me its such a leap of faith going into a new place and a new surrounding with new people and to do this for massages, its a pretty personal experience so i kept putting it off. Laura and her girls, from the very 1st second, made me feel at ease. They are naturally welcoming and warm. Caring from the very start. Add the girls to a well laid out reception and seperate studio rooms. I was sure I was about to enjoy my treatment. And I was amazed at the result. Ive had massages before and this was simply off the chart; the best. Laura clearly knows her stuff. The Secret Beauty Garden is a proper oasis in a city where life always just "gets in the way". If you need some "me time" or you know someone who does. I cant recommend Laura and her girls anymore than i already have. Will I be back?. Absoultly. Have i been paid to leave this? no. (But i should of been...) Thank you all at The Secret Beauty Garden.

As someone who was never into beauty therapies or spending money on myself I was a bit nervous and not sure what to expect on my first visit. A friend of mine had recommended The Secret Beauty Garden saying they were really laid back and friendly so I decided to give them a try. I could not of been more pleased! I'm now a regular customer, I get my lashes and waxing done here and honestly from the ambiance of the place, to the prices, to the staff and satisfaction with the results everything is five stars. Personally I was most pleased with the friendly staff, everyone I have spoken to here is so helpful and kind. They offer great advice without judgment or making you feel silly for not knowing all the beauty stuff. They've really helped me to feel more confident in myself.

i had to create a trip advisor account for this as this place is magic. i am disabled and in a wheelchair as i had points with Tesco i decided to treat myself to a 1h full body remedial massage and 1h facial. For the disabled person wondering i have full sensation). Kim's work is absolutely phenomenal, i have never felt so good i previously had sport massage for my back due to wheeling so i knew it would do me good, but i was really surprise on the effect it would have on my legs ( they feel totally different in a good way), the facial was great and really completed my relaxation. i have never so relax in my life. this place is a pure blessing and i would recommend it to everyone. the staff is so nice. Don't hesitate and book! ( i wish i did it sooner)
