I use this facility regularly, and have done so since 1984. It has developed and improved a very great deal since I first used it, and beats most countries' corresponding service into a cocked hat in a distant corner. It is well organised and makes...More

I had this email from Scotlands People today about unused credits I had purchased in good faith but which I had not fully used up to this point. Apparently you have to keep topping up your credit otherwise you lose them! This threat to pocket...More

Visited this wonderful place again and it's still £15 for the day. Seems to be integrated with the scotlandspeople website now as you pay for print outs via your account, 1 credit per page printed which is very reasonable although I wish you could save...More

Best place ever to trace your Scottish pedigree. You can search online and buy credits to view full records. Well worth £15 to search records

I have been researching my Family tree and I am annoyed by the charges made by Scotland's People. Initially you buy credits 30 for £7.50 40 for £10 and so on...Fair enough so far. What is hidden in the small print is the charges made...More

Been a few times and always a good place to go. Now that the Adam Room is open, nice area as well to research. Special exhibitions on the go now as well.

Glaswegians tease Edinburghers that their High Street
