I did the cook school @ home kids class this morning with my 2 children (age 2 and 4) - it was brilliant! Chef Stuart managed to keep all the children engaged whilst making chocolate shortbread for Santa and they also provided colouring in to keep them occupied whilst the shortbread cooked in the oven. Finished the class with a zoom call from Santa, my kids loved it. Plus everything was delivered to my door - total convenience! Highly recommend.

Went as a couple to the “steak night” at the Cook School. The evening lasted from 5.45-9.30pm.
Staff were exceptionally attentive, evening was well organised, chefs were charismatic when demonstrating, and the food was brilliant. Lobster mac and cheese, calamari, steak and prawns, and a dessert.
It is testament to the offering that most of the people who attended were people who were returning.
Will be back, and will recommend to friends.

Fantastic Demo & Dine night last night. Stuart Head Chef made it very enjoyable with his interaction with fellow guests. Food was DELICIOUS as well. A good night out for all & reasonably priced for tuition , nice 2 course meal & 3 drinks.

This was our first visit here since lockdown, we usually go regularly but our wait this time was 30 mins as there was a huge que and limited staff on.
The food was good but they had no rolls left and only option is to sit outside, as inside is still closed. Prices are very reasonable and portions are a good size. Definitely worth a visit!

We turned up today at 14.10 to purchase some macaroni for a family get together tonight in Clarkson. I thought 3pm was closing time and could've cried when I realised it was already closed . Go to serving window and the chef went above and beyond to help me out . I regularly visit the cafe and always get great customer service , ☆☆☆☆☆ to all staff in cafe today , thanks 😊

Just did the cook school @ home thai night and it was really amazing. All the ingredients were sent to our house the day before with recipes and instructions. Stuart the chef was amazing. So much banter and really engaging. I did it on my own and felt completely at ease and all the other participants were lovely. The food was AMAZING! I’m cooking the curry for friends this weekend as we loved it so much. Highly recommend this and would do it again. Worth every penny. 5 stars cook school. X

I was not able to get the eat out to help out discount as I didn’t want to sit outside in the rain. I asked if I could sit inside and was advised no. They should not be offering this if they can’t provide indoor seating, instead the indoor tables are covered with boxes of pasta etc for sale. Very poor service!

Sorry due to the current pandemic and the fact we are a food wholesalers for the hospitality industry we have made the decision not to open our indoor seating area. We want help the reduce the risk on the premises.
We have been using the tables as displays for pasta, eggs etc as this is something that has been in demand recently within our local community.
Hopefully when things go back to some sort or normality we will reopen as sit in. It is unfortunate that not every day the ‘eat out’ scheme is a dry day.
We are trying our best during these challenging times.

Went for breakfast this morning with my family. On ordering we were advised that there was no square sausage left but they didn't give us another link sausage instead despite asking for a substitute for the missing square one and the staff had agreed to this due to their stock issue. They did swap eggs for a potato scone for 2 orders, so obviously substitutions are done. We also didn't get compensated for the missing item either, so we didn't get what we paid for. I ordered eggs on toast for my baby, the crusts were ridiculously hard so had to cut them off. Also the beans on my breakfast were cold and my tap water was lukewarm. The only good thing was the bacon tasted nice. This was my first experience of this place but given the poor service from staff, not getting what we paid for and underwhelming food, we will not be back unfortunately.

Don’t go into the cafe at 3.25 !!! If we’d been told that they were just clearing up then we wouldn’t have ordered coffees and lite bites for our 2 grandchildren. A smile and a little chat costs nothing but we didn’t receive either I’m afraid. We felt totally unwanted and certainly won’t be back

Amazing day with Stuart, fab day, fun, entertaining and educational. Cannot recommend this enough. Fabulous. Great value for money and so well organised. Thanks Stuart, 10 out of 10
