Fantastic views.

Pick a clear day, preferably off-peak to see fantastic views over the Tay and the Sidlaw Hills. Parking can be problematic at the top of the Law, especially at the weekend.

A trip up the Law is a must for any visitor to obtain a true perspective of Dundee. From the Law you can get a real feel for how the town developed and its relationship to the river, port and agricultural land to the North. Views are great on a bright clear day.

I went up the Law many years ago and again this year on my visit to Dundee looking for Wullie. Not only was the statue great but the view is breath taking. You can see across Dundee and the silvery Tay taken in both bridges. Really worth a visit.

Lovely monument with spectacular views over Dundee making it a popular sport for tourists. Get the bus to the law or walk but some people may find the walk confusing and steep. Great place for contemplation, viewing fireworks and having a pleasant afternoon.

Well worth a drive up or a walk if you can. The views are outstanding in any weather and at any time of day. The beacon marks the loss of so many hundreds of Dundee men in World War 1, particularly the Battle of the Somme.

As Dundonians are minded to say: " it's not called the Law Hill!"... Regardless , it's a fantastic hill that dominates the Dundee skyline, and is a superb vantage point from which to view the length and breadth of Dundee. Dundee is truly blessed to be so beautifully located , such as it on the shores of the Firth of... More
