I am interested in the history of South Pole exploration so this was a must visit for me. It didn’t disappoint with lots of information about Scott’s first expedition. The trip around the boat is fascinating and the realisation that so much coal to power...More

This was the highlight of our short stay in Dundee. It’s a great little museum and tells a great story of the Antarctic trip.

Visited on a showery Thursday and on first reflection thought it was a little expensive . However it turned out to be extremely good - good films and displays of the sheer bravery the men faced, and the ship itself was fantastic. This deserves a...More

Few experiences of historical artefacts are often as engaging and real as this. Everything is brillaintly done and the sense of the Shackleton/Scott exhbition shines through!

A very informative display and a good history of the ship. A supreme example of Hand work in wood and it was pleasing to note that the sip was in water and not in a dry dock

Must see for anyone interested in Antarctic exploration. If you like ships, this is a must. If you don't, just go back to playing with your cell phone.

The museum was very interesting and engaging, and seemed like it would be fun for children too as there was plenty of interactive sections. The boat itself was great, though some parts were cordoned off which was a shame. We visited the cafe, which was...More
