The McManus is a lovely place, despite the cafes recent menu change rendering it very very expensive and no longer family friendly. However, On my visit today I was kindly asking my son to put his food in his pocket as we know that food is not allowed. Mid sentence a member of staff stormed over and shouted at us... More

My daughter took me here over the Christmas break. It's chock-a-block with interesting exhibits and a picture gallery. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and patient. There is a pleasant cafe with reasonably priced food which was very popular. I'll be going back as soon as possible...there is so much to see!

They had an excellent exhibition about the modern history of the city. I think it is a must if you want to learn about the city.

nicely located in Dundee, free admission, open early enough. nice little spot to spend a few hours passing the time away looking at art, new and old, paintings, and a great selection of stuffed animals from the the Scottish region. also has classes and activities that can be attended, but check website for timings and plans.

Aye, there's that famous painting of Bonnie Prince Charlie leaving for good (or ill), a whale skeleton, loads of interesting stuff including Oor Wullie in a ceremonial African mask and a brilliant collection of historical Dundee artefacts. Don't miss it!

An interesting museum of very Dundonian art and relics. Well worth a visit when in the area, particularly of a wet afternoon..
