We called in during the ‘Flower Festival’. We were welcomed by friendly people. A gentleman was playing the organ. There were pretty flower displays and slides of flowers 🌸 on display.

I found the interior of the church light, bright and airy. A change from usual church interiors. I was impressed by the size of the organ prominent in the centre of the church.

This church is nice but the colour to me is a but grim, I don't know why. Other than that the steeple is impressive and so is the bell tower.

Set in a public park bounded by St Marys road and St Cuthbert Street this imposing building sits back from the road . Built in 1838 by Edinburgh architect William Burn a mixture of Gothic and Tudor styles with a cruciform shape in red sandstone . The parkland around it is used by locals and visitors for picnics in good weather with seating around the paths

The grounds are lovely and an impressive church from the outside . Strange to be selling jams and the like inside the church.

This is a free church that is right off the main road. It’s interior is quite unique . The grounds of the church are very green and offer a great spot for photo opportunities, picnics, and just a spot to relax. The inside of the church is a little more modern than I expected and has a stunning Organ.

This is a lovely church to visit and the staff were friendly and informative and clearly enthused by their role in promoting the church and its values.
