Beautiful Park, so well-maintained. The bandstand and bowling hut are very traditional and immaculately kept. The prices for playing are very reasonable. we enjoyed the mini golf and the banter with the green keeper. Dog enjoyed her walk too.

We popped in here on our way to Castle Douglas for a walk and a coffee. We had a lovely walk around the park, which had a good-sized play park for kids, a bowling green, and mini-golf. We used the toilets, which are in very good condition and are also kept clean. Before we left, my husband had a milkshake, and I had a sandwich from the cafe. Both were very nice.

Dock Park is a public park which runs beside the river nith, it has a peter pan themed play park and payable activities such as mini golf, bowling and trampolines which are all reasonably priced and a great little cafe which is open all year round.
There is lots to see from wildlife, amazing trees, etc so it's well worth visiting!

I went to this park as a Kiltwalk Pop Up volunteer. I had visited Dumfries before but never went into the park. WOW. What a nice park adjacent to the river and lots of nice walks. Attractive bandstand. The Kiltwalk was the first and attended by 500 walkers and some with dogs. Hope it will be repeated in yours to come. Cafe on site. Most of the walks are on flat walkways. Plenty of grass areas to picnic in good weather. Toilets on site and free. I will re- visit when next in the area.

This park is great for kids. The zip wire is good and there is a mini low maze. The views are nice and the gardens are peaceful.

I don't know what all the fuss is about the park. Maybe it is the £2 million spent on it. The only thing I can see new is the play area and the turrets at the entrance. What a shame children aren't allowed to play ball games. The money would have been better spent cleaning up the town.

Took my 3 year old grandson for the afternoon and he loved it. Went to the playpark and there was loads to do and the gates lock so they can't run away.Had a go on the trampolines and good value at £1 10. It was a lovely sunny day and we had a picnic on one of the many benches. There's a cafe, toilets and crazy golf as well and a nice place to walk around.

A long stretch of Park at the side of the River Nith in Dumfries. It is kept in excellent condition and there are lots of information boards as you stroll along telling you about the area in days gone by. There is a Cafe, a children's play area, bowling green, bandstand and crazy golf and lots of flat grassy areas. It is a credit to the city of Dumfries.

I want to praise the lovely man at the kiosk running this section of a great Park. He is just so kind and fun with the children. He obviously enjoys his job and adds to the fun had attempting to get the pesky little balls into the holes.
Congratulations.

I've been walking through the Dock a lot over the past couple of months - only at weekends since I'm doon hame attending to the recuperation of my Ma after a new hip.
Even over the weeks I've been back there have been changes. It was great to see the park being used by the Junior Park Runners on Sunday mornings - they do the most amazing work clearing the pathways before the run starts.
And then seeing the Scottish Opera touring event down there also - encouraging a younger audience to come along.
The crazy golf area is the most amazingly gorgeous garden landscape!
There's a bowling green, trampolines for the kids, a fantastic kiddies play area which includes a maze , a pirate ship, a zip wire.....
And, for me - the highlight was an evening stroll with my (for once) very quiet & calm mut, along the path through the park by the river ... & seeing a kingfisher fly over from one bank to the other.
Priceless
