Excellent place to spend a couple of hours. Staff are very helpful and warm welcome. Would recommend even if your not into aircraft. Will definitely be back

Thank you to all staff as this is done by volunteers. I really enjoyed it along with my partner. Very good price to get in £5 and have drink & toilet faculties on site too.

Very interesting museum. Janet and her husband (sorry I didn't get his name) they are lovely lovely people couldn't of been more helpful. The museum relies on volunteers and donations to help complete the attractions. To take a walk back in time, well worth a visit an absolute must for the aviation enthusiast. You can also get a cup of... More

Well worth a visit as a very interesting/informative experience. The control tower is on three floors and plenty to see but it is all stairs and no lift so not accessible to elderly or disabled.

Our visit was too short and we didn't manage to study everything on display. But we did enjoy the friendly and informative introduction provided by the staff, followed by a swift tour of the aircraft, tower and displays. We need to plan a longer visit to fully appreciate the significance of the collection. There is also a good grass picnic... More

An amazing place for young and old with a large collection of old planes on a grassed area, some of which you are able to enter with interesting stories on each craft, lots of picnic benches to sit and admire the machinery on a good day. The tower at this disused airfield has been made into a museum with thousands... More

Excellent venue for families and all interested in the history of aviation. Established on the World War II aerodrome, and occupying the control tower.

A truly wonderful place to visit to enjoy some amazing history from WW2 and it makes you realise how hard the war days were. Some amazing planes, helicopters, engines and war memorabilia. They are in the process of extending the collection, building another 5 hangers and will be getting a restored Spitfire in the autumn, which you can donate to... More
