I went here with family which included an 8 year old and a 10 year old. We were welcomed by a staff member. You'd think you'd have to buy tickets from a desk but it's just a small window. We bought food to feed the animals. It is quite expensive. Unfortunately the day we came it was raining. There wasn't that many people there probably because of the weather. You'd think it would be slightly cheaper if the weather is bad as the kids can't make use of everything there. We went straight to the hay bales with the rope swing which is under cover. We decided before venturing around to get some lunch. We walked back to the cafe and due to covid, you couldn't sit indoors. There was tables next to the hay bales which were under cover. The woman in the cafe wasn't very friendly. She was trying to rush us even though there was no-one else in the queue. She also gave us an apple covered in cobwebs at the base 🤢 which we obviously binned. There is a good selection of things to do but due to the weather some weren't appropriate. The kids had a blast on the slides but got very muddy. The grass equally gets water logged and muddy. I would say wear wellies and bring a change of clothes for the kids as it gets very muddy. We did leave early due to the weather which was unfortunate. We would come back but on a dry day.

Hi thank you for taking the time to write a review. We usually have a desk in the shop which you purchase your entrance tickets but we have had to create a one way system into the park to help keep everyone safe. For this reason we have made a serving hatch to reduce contact. I'm sorry you feel its expensive also but we do try and keep our pricing as low as possible for everyone. Thank you once again for your feedback and try come along on a nice sunny day next time 😀

We just turned up and were able to purchase a family ticket. Doing there best with social distancing. Staff were fantastic. Nice a clean, loads to do, we brought a picnic and loads of benches to eat at. The animals looks well looked after and the lovely guy at the ticket booth gave us 2 bags of food that the kids loved feeding to the animals. We will be back soon x

Booking was done simply and easily online received no confirmation though but that was no problems when we arrived showed screenshot of payment from PayPal and done. Great price. Myself 5 and 14 year old. Great animals for them to look at. Park items are good. Couple slides for big kids and little kids. Peddler boats were a firm favourite. My eldest coming to a wee girls rescue after her dad fell in lol! choo Choo ride for the kids this is for big kids to. Go with them my little one loved it and my eldest well that’s gave me a giggle :) cafe doesn’t have too much choice at the minute due to covid but enough and the cakes and sausage rolls were great! Great price. spent a couple of hours in the park and was yeah a great place to visit.

Great full day out for all the family! Lovely friendly staff, entry can seem pricey but for the activities on offer its well worth it and more. We were lucky as it was a very sunny Friday in october so it was fairly quiet but all activities are spread out and it was very easy to socially distance. Looking forward to our next visit.

Second time visiting, we really really enjoyed our visit last time as we had so much more quiet time with the animals, but this time unfortunately not so much. Just my husband and I, it’s the animals we really come for - but the distancing with families and kids was impossible. I’d be feeding a goat in the barn, and a child would push to feed the same one - and not being told to wait by the parents. We were in and out within 50 mins for £17. Ouch. Absolutely sweet friendly animals, beautiful donkeys and lovely staff. Think we may try a weekday next time we are in the area.
