Had wonderful cafe lunch here in lovely courtyard surroundings. My parents enjoyed the walled gardens while we took the children fishing at kailzie fisheries across the car park.

Following a short stay in the Borders, we visited Kailzie Gardens on our journey home based on the strength of its web site. It is just a short drive south east of Peebles. We arrived early so the place was quiet with plenty of parking. Initial impressions seemed good but this unfortunately did not last. Way finding was adequate but... More

The highlight of a trip to Kailzie is the walled garden which is very well laid out and very tranquil. Had lunch at the restaurant café which was tasty and reasonably priced. Ideal for a short visit.

We enjoyed very good service and the friendly waiter even sang 'Happy Birthday' and gave us a gift bag of dog treats. A relaxed atmosphere and... More

Visited today for a light lunch to see how things were going under new operators. Some distance out of Peebles on a back road. The drive has very unforgiving humps/ Car parking is central for Ospreys and fishing pool. Less good for garden of cafe as the path is uphill and very uneven. The staff were friendly but not well... Enjoyed a peaceful wander round the walled garden, conservatory and grounds on a sunny day. They were well kept with a good variety of flowers and plenty photo opportunities. We also had a game of putting on the 18 hole course and an ice cream while watching the fishermen at the Fishery next to the car park.
