McCaig's Tower is an incredible feat of engineering with great acoustics. The views over Oban are stunning and in the centre of the folly there is a bench you can sit on and enjoy the view, both inside and out. It is well kept. To...More

Well worth trudging up the hill, or driving. Great views over Oban to the magnificent Isle of Mull. Nice gardens within the tower. Take a picnic.

It's a good climb upto the Tower, not for the faint of heart. But worth it just to say "I been there" and some wonderful views over the surrounding town and Lochs, plus if your lucky you'll find the shortcut down.

An interesting monument, not a lot to see, however the views on a clear day are spectacular. A nice walk up to the top inside the monument.

It's at the top of a hill and think we probably took the steepest route. You can drive up there as well.
