About West Coast Tours
West Coast Tours offers a range of day and sightseeing tours. Our day tours to Mull, Iona and Staffa allow visitors to visit two or even three islands in one day as well as regular bus services to Tobermory and joint tickets with Duart Castle. Our City Sightseeing open-top bus tours operate in Glasgow, Oban and Bute and offer expert commentary and the ability to hop-on and off. We also operate a fast passenger ferry link between Campbeltown and Ballycastle in Northern Ireland called the Kintyre Express which offers visitors the chance to combine both the west coast of Scotland and the rugged Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.

Took the three island tour (Mull, Staffa, Iona). Easy booking online and pick up of ferry tickets the day before from the shop in Oban. Everything was so well organised. There were two ferries involved - Oban to Mull, and Mull to Iona, plus a charter boat to Staffa, and a coach from East to West on Mull with full commentary both ways. The scenery was breath taking throughout. Fingals Cave (on Staffa) is well worth a visit, as was Iona Abbey. What a brilliant trip this was.

It was a long day. Ferry to mull was nice but the bus across Mull was long and boring. No triplet on the bus. Enjoyed both Iona and Staffa.

We did the Wildlifetour and it was the most wonderful day of our holiday in Scotland. During the boattrip we saw dolphins, orca's, a sea-eagle, puffins, seals: very special! And at Staffa we saw puffins very closeby, and walked to the cave. Staffa is indeed a must see. We also went to Iona, and that was also very nice tot see. This is the best tour I've have had!

The 3 Isles Tour was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. All the staff have to be commended and for the service alone I would give 5 stars. The lady at West Coast Tours ticket office were great, as was the Frank -the Mull Bus Driver & the boys on the Staffa Boat Tour. Very helpful & friendly with lots of local knowledge. Staffa & Iona were absolutely beautiful and we were lucky to see puffins & dolphins on the day. We would definitely come back and would love to explore more of the islands and surrounding area. Can’t recommend highly enough

Booked the Three Isles Tour - Mull, Iona & Staffa (June 2022) - cancelled allegedly "due to weather". On the same day we successfully went on a different boat trip (leaving from Oban quayside) to see the seals and puffins. On the same day we have seen large ferries to/from Mull coming and going from the Oban Terminal. This led us to believe West Coast Tours has cancelled because of other reasons. The question is whether there were enough number of customers for our trip. Anyway feel very bad by the West Coast Tours treatment. Very disappointed. Wasted two days in the hotel and £200

Many thanks for your feedback and I'm so sorry that your trip was canceled, we understand how disappointing this would be. As our Three Isles Tour includes travel across to Staffa it can be very weather dependent, quite often it will look calm in Oban but the Staffa Tours boat will be unable to get safely into Staffa. Please be assured that our tours don't run on minimum numbers, whether we have 1 passenger or 100 the tour will run as long as our partners are happy that they can safely sail. I'm so glad you managed to get out to see the seals and puffins.
