We went out two days in a row and both trips were excellent. We saw common and grey seals and porpoises but of course the highlight of the second day had to be the sea eagles! Two chicks in the nest, an adult and a year-old juvenile. We watched them for ages, edging the boat as close to them as... More

We were doing things around Geoff's birthday and a sea trip was one of the things he was thinking about. We have our own boat, live on the Isle of Skye but not been on the water so often lately with health issues; Googled and eventually found Sealife Adventures and booked for a morning trip. Weather medium, offered waterproof trousers... More

We enjoyed our trip a lot! The crew was very competent and thoughtful, there were water resistant trousers, warm cloths and binoculars. We also had tea/coffee/hot chocolate(!) with cookies. What we really liked is that we were no "unlucky seats" on the boat. We were able to see everything, what was shown!

Both the skipper and the guide are competent and know what they are doing, whale sighting is always a bit of a luck affair but the crew have a few other animals to show and either way you won't be disappointed. Also the guide we had was very enthusiastic about the wildlife and kept explaining things from the eating habits... More

Great 4 hour trip. Saw seals, porpoise, herons, sea eagles and the coryvrecken! Very entertaining and knowledgeable talks. Have dived off Dave Ainsley's boat many years ago and he is a hugely experienced skipper. Both kids age 9 and 14 loved it. Would do it again in a moment.

The leaders are knowledgeable and care about the environment. They don't cram too many people onto the boat and so each person has a good experience. The long trip (5 hours) showed us common seals, porpoise, guillemots, kittiwake, gannets - no dolphins or whales, unfortunately, but that's wildlife watching for you. On land, we saw red deer, roe deer, and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Sealife adventures! The weather was awful but we still saw porpoises, seals, sea eagles and many other types of sea birds. Unfortunately no whales but we understand it's just your luck. The staff were very helpful and informative and we found it very interesting. Thoroughly recommended!

The trip was fantastic, and we saw seals, sea eagles and their nest with a chick in it. Also some porpoise (small tooth whales). The crew was brililant - Karen and David - as they were extremely knowledgeable. Karen was constantly informing us of where we were and what to see and giving us tales of folklore and legend. David... More

I chose Sea life adventures because my husband is nervous of boats. I was very impressed by the way the skipper handled the boat as we were setting off, making sure every one was comfortable before he picked up speed, and boy did we go fast! The scenery was stunning, and all the way Dave was pointing out sea life.When... More
