I am travelling with some friends through scotland and stumbled across this lovely caf, after we bought our food, which was superb by the way especially recomend the soup and the toasted sandwiches. They wished us wel on our travels and recomended places to stay ( cheap places as we are students travelling) and places to visit.
A lovely warm and homey cafe.

My wife, Bailey the Cockerpoo and I popped into the Inverary Woollen Mill (Bailey sat outside! 🐕) during our recent trip to Inverary. The ladies in the shop made our visit and are the reason for this review, they were lovely, full of smiles and good humour, as friendly as could be and very helpful. 😉 I recommend you should pay the shop and them a visit if you're ever in the area. 👍👍

I purchased a blanket , scarves and a mans tweed jacket. Great prices!! It is the best price and excellent quality for Scottish wool products . The staff are so nice and very helpful.

Nice shop full of touristy items. We didn't purchase anything but it was nice to walk around for a bit. Parking is very limited between the giant coaches. We ended up running across the blind street after parking our car.

On a day out mainly for shopping,we called at the Woollen shop, a quaint store that sells mostly for tourist's, all sorts of nick nacks which we men like to peruse and there is a nice little whisky set up. The ladies , of course like the clothes, which is stocked up, dresses and skirts, all what a lady enjoys, mind you I managed to buy a shirt, I think its about time for tea and cakes.

Visited am Sunday 4th Sept 2016. This a typical tourist shop of which there are many similar. They have lots of choices but I found a very unhelpful member of staff. As I know nothing about whiskys, I asked an assistant called Jennifer for advice/info on single malts. She told me very curtly that she didn't drink and to go and read the labels. Not the response I was expecting or wanting. Needless to say, I quickly walked out and spent my £60 - £70 elsewhere. If I was the proprietor of this business I would not retain staff with this kind of attitude which must be detrimental to profits.

The woollen shop was just the same as any other but it is the cafe I want to write a review about. When they found out I was dairy free, they made me a sandwich and even put a side salad with it. They also had a box of soya milk in the fridge and we're happy to make me a soya latte. There were gluten free cakes/biscuits on the side. All they need now are some FreeFrom cakes/biscuits for those who have dairy allergies. A lovely lunch, thank you.

Not the easiest store to get around, but staff are helpful and obliging, plenty of choice and prices and reasonable. Coffee shop on upper floor, selling nice coffee, cakes and meals.
Piper in car park is well worth listening too.

Yep 2 shirts for work.
Sister bought some stuff as did brother sister in law and nephew.
This is basically a shop with clothing that has a very Scottish theme.
The lady who served us was lovely with a wicked sense of humour.
Well worth the visit.

Our coach stopped here so we would shop before going on to the castle. I truly thought it was just a tourist trap. (perhaps it is, but I really didn't care) We had a blast here! Prices were good, and shop keepers were lovely.
