We were so lucky to go here and do the tour. Perhaps the highlight of a 10 day Scotland trip. Completely agree with the other reviews - small group, lots of great stories from our host Alistair. The boat ride was short and enjoyable as...More

After visiting the lovely Urquhart Castle with about 3500 other people, it was a breath of fresh air to join a tour group composed of 12 people (yes, that's 12 people total). The reason for the small groups is that this is a small castle,...More

Castle Stalker is worth a stop on the way up to Fort William. We popped into the Castle Stalker view point and spent 15 mins before heading off.

Wonderful, personal stories and photos shared by the son whose father purchased and "restored" the castle. Also a film location spot for scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail! Well worth a visit!!

I’ve visited lots of castles in Scotland and I have to say it’s on my top 5 list. It’s really worth it if you’re nearby. There’s amazing views of the castle and the lake.

We stopped by here on our way to Oban. It’s a great photo opportunity and beautiful scenery. There is also a cafe.

If you are a photographer DEFINITELY visit the castle! The view is just amazing. I was not very lucky cause when I visited it was too sunny and ruined my plans, but I was still happy. Definitely recommend it’s totally worth it!
