Great wee train

I took my son & daughter in law & grandson here who is two and he loved it. Very nostalgic for me as the first time I went was with my grandparents 40 years ago.

A small ¼ mile ride up the track, it has a smart little signal box and foot bridge, there was a diesel loco running and a couple of steam engines in the shed. Another shed housed a bus, a fire engine and possibly an ambulance. It was very quiet on the day we were there as the kids had gone... More

What an amazing attraction, my Dad brought me to Kerr's miniature railway when I was young and now I take my children also. It seems almost a 'rite o' passage' to come here and important. When you have a great sunny day during summer in Arbroath, get down to the west links for a walk along the beach. Get your... More

Traditional old miniture railway with tunnel and stations at each end of the short journey. Magical family experience when the sun is shining.

When we moved to Arbroath people mentioned coming for holidays when they were younger and visiting the railway. We assumed that it would no longer be here but weren't we surprised to find that it was! At £1.50 for adults and £1 for children it's a complete steal. The 'station master' chatted away to the children and adults alike. I... More

For a purely nominal fee you and your family can ride a miniature railway down a few hundred yards of track, to a station filled with teddy bears, and then back again. There's not much more to it than that, but the kids absolutely love it. Cost for our family of 6 was £7. The engine is a diesel. They... More

With the whole area being upgraded with a skate park a cleaned up paddling pool this has given Kerrs mlnuture railway a new lease off life. This minuter railway runs along side the main east coast line. Great fun for kids and mainly run by volunteers

Nice train ride for children. Trains were hauled by a petrol driven locomotive. But there is also 2 steam engines. People running it are very helpful. Also has a collection of miniature road vehicles
