Really good for handicapped people and dog walking. My staffy Tyson loves to chase the pigeons and students. Plenty of wheelchair access for handicapped people & their carers. the local area has lots of people with mild dementia & learning difficulties living around here. Most of the locals are just simple people- nobodies really. Nice place to walk your staffy & lots of dog feacies bins 👍

A lovely wee park just a few minutes from town. Just around the corner from the Gordon Highlanders Museum. It serves as a tranquil little oasis in an urban area. Ideal for a small stroll with family and pets. The main beauty is in the amazing plants/trees and of course the ducks!

A hidden gem that's worth traveling out of the town centre to see. It's a really beautiful park and so well maintained (although the public toilet isn't ans is best avoided). The pictures don't do the garden enough justice

Johnstone Gardens can be found coming down Viewfield Road past the Gordon Highlanders Museum and it is second on right with a good car park here. Postcode is AB15 7XE
Great little park for young children and has a nice Duck and Coot pond. Nice walks around here and good swing park as well for the young.
There is a monument here near the top of the park for the Bond helicopter that crashed on 1st April 2009 returning from BP Miller Platform. All 16 people on board perished.
A beautiful setting to recognise this sad event.

If you go to the Gordon Highlander museum take 20 minutes to go round the corner to the Johnston Gardens, a peaceful little park area teeming with wildlife, small waterfalls and japanese bridges.

Been here many times and found it always to be a lovely place to get away from the city. There are seats if you want to eat lunch and feed the ducks but beware as the seagulls will snatch your food also.

This is one of Aberdeen's smaller park areas but is still very nice for a walk round. It is located near the much more famous Hazelhead park but they are within walking distance of each other, around 15 mins. A very tranquil haven to do some thinking!

What wonderful gardens nestled into this area of Aberdeen. Worth the visit for a nice walk, feed the ducks (or just watch), visit a small playground, sit for a while to read a book, and even take some lovely family photos. It helped that we picked a sunny day after Xmas, but imagine beautiful at any time of the year.

A fantastic jewel in the crown. Beautiful any time of year but especially in autumn. Visited yesterday on a wet day but even then it was well worth going. Very photogenic.

Hello, is there parking and if so, where?
Written June 18, 2017
When you follow signs for Gardens, you go down a small terraced road, at the end of this there is a small carpark at the end.
