Hazlehead Park has something for everybody - a pay to visit animal park, formal gardens, informal parkland and walks into the wild. Children will love the mini-zoo which has rabbits, ducks, alpacas, horses and pigs etc. Adults can walk several signposted walks into the woodlands around Hazlehead which typically take about 40 minutes to walk. There are toilets and a small cafe and many places are hard pathed and suitable for wheelchairs.

We walked around the park on a Sunday afternoon for the first time in a long time. Fairly clean and tidy, apart from some dog owners who hadn't cleaned up their dog's mess.
There was a large dog owners get together in one of the open spaces, which worked well. The mass amount of dogs got on well.
Cafe, sports pitches and a golf club all near by. Parking was free.

Lovely time walking round pets corner the animals look well cared for and it’s nice that you can touch some of them.
The meerkats are so cute but so are Archie and Buster the alpacas.
Thanks to the male staff that were working they made us all very welcome.
Come on council put some money into the place and get more cute animals

Fantastic park with wonderful ~5km running/walking track through the woods surrounding it. Excellent playpark, plus golf-course and a number of football and rugby pitches. Much better than Duthie Park and more rural.

A fantastic park for a walk. The garden is awesome. The cafe is really good. There is a play area for young children. I cannot recommend this park highly enough.
The best feature of the park has got to be Pets Corner which is absolutely amazing and a must-see if you come here with kids. But come on Aberdeen City Council, spend a bit of cash and bring the Maze back to its former glory!
Overall a must visit if you are in this part of Aberdeen.

Hazlehead Park is a really nice place to go for a walk. It's well-maintained, there's a pet's corner, a golf course and rugby pitches. I always see a variety of birds on the circuit I run. There's a place to get takeaway coffees and plenty of seats. Lots of parking is available and the rose garden is worth a visit when they're in bloom.

Absolutely love to take my dog to this park. It has a lot of space and is simply beautiful. The best part is definitely the enclosed area where you can let your dog play in the field! There is a nice forest walk right next to the park as well.

Hazlehead Park is just lovely . Only 5 minutes distant by bike and a 15 minute walk. A truly fabulous location.

I’m in Aberdeen this June and was wondering when the rose garden will be in bloom? I was at the park at Easter and thought a trip back would be good when all the flowers are out
The spelling of the park is incorrect, it is Hazelhead Park not Hazlehead Park, just thought ya should know
