My first distillery tour. Really interesting - the production started in 1824. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and funny. The visitor centre is lovely, as is the shop, and the distillery itself is fantastic. Very good value and a lovely tasting at the end.

Alright tour. Its about 30 min for £5, so it's a short tour but cheap. It was cool to see the machines working, but the distillery lacked heart and character. Because the whiskey is mainly used for blends it doesn't have much flavor.

Had a lovely time here, wasn't a busy tour but felt a real personal touch by our tour guide. She was great fun and the drams at the end were just lovely, highly recommend.

The tour costs £5 for over 18s and it is nicely paced (about 45 minutes and no hanging around) with a sample at the end. The lady who took our tour was fun and knowledgeable. It's a fascinating place and you get to see all the workings. Lovely place.

Myself and my boyfriend both visited the distillery not knowing much about Fettercairn! We've left a massive fan! Having already worked in whisky and been to a variety of distilleries it's very refreshing to visit somewhere like this that gives unique facts and techniques! The distillery is in beautiful surrounds. We wet every impressed with the whisky and bought a... More

Fettercairn is a distillery worth exploring. A nice visitors centre and the location is rural. Not on any main route, so it does take a detour to get here. But it is really worth your while.

We were lucky to get the distillery manager on our late afternoon tour. He gave a fantastic and at times funny talk and walk around the plant after a video presentation, then back to the centre for a taste and buy a nice bottle for your collection.

Didn't realise there were no tours running for some time so call ahead if you really want the full experience. You do get a free taste of whisky and can enjoy it in a nice room where a video about the distillery plays on a loop. The lady in the reception/shop is very nice. We were still glad we came... More

We visited this small distillery today only to find that he tours were not available. No problem at all as we went to the small shop and were able to taste whatever we wanted to and were served by a delightful Scottish lady who was knowledgeable and charming. Contrast this with our visit to Royal Lochnagar, where they appear more... More
