Duthie Park has something for everyone. We usually start by turning left from the entry and going through the various sections with plant collections from around the globe. There are tropical - steamy jungles, to deserts full of cacti. The sorts of species normally seen with Attenborough on TV. Next we follow through to the more local plants, usually whole... More

The winter gardens at the Duthie Park is a beautiful area set in an historic city park. Some of the established tropical plants are quite stunning.

It's worth a visit that for sure and it's also free or you can donate some money to the foundation. Beautiful plants inside all well build and maintained and you have the tropical garden if you want to run away form the cold weather in Aberdeen

My wife and family have visited the gardens many times, and always enjoyed them. The range of plants and settings varying from tropical vegetation to the cactus area is well worth exploring. Only drawbacks relate to the toilet facilities, which are basic to say the least.

Was disappointed that the gardens didn't seem finished for the summer season. Empty spaces and the toilets inadequate. The frog a used love is no longer raising up. Had good fun in the park.

Can get very stuffy and some rooms smell very fragrant which children find unpleasant. Great Cactus area with a talking cactus for youngsters and a visit to the frog is a must. Also contains a small gardening shop,... More
