Despite the popularity of Bennachie, it is easy to get away and be alone. Be aware that the climb up to Mither Tap is very steep and for the less energetic the walk from Rowantree would suit better. The vies from Mither Tap are wonderful...More

I have used these walks many times and in all sorts of weather. Well laid out paths and signage to show you the way although it would be hard to miss the Mither Tap

Went on a walk all the way to the top of Mither Tap and Oxen Craig a couple of times. Hard if you start from Bennachie center but once you are up there its breathtaking, the view and fresh air are addictive :)
